  이따가 in a little while    after a little time has passed.  a: 식당에 갈 거야? are you going to go to the restaurant? b: 응, 이따가 갈 거야. Yes, I'll be there   in a little while  a. 숙제 언제 할 거야? When are you going to do your homework? b. 응, 이따가 할 게. yes i will do   in a little while    a. 오늘 미팅에 올 거예요? Are you coming to the meeting today? b. 네, 이따가 만나요.  Yes, I'll see you   in a little while    나중에 = after some time has passed and after one has finished doing some other task. the range of time can be within the same day or sometime in the future ex a: 오늘 같이 운동 갈 수 있어요? : Can we go exercise together today? b. 미안해요, 오늘은 바빠서 나중에 가요~~ b. Noun 의 Noun 

의 means that the preceding noun possesses the following noun.


ex) 이거는 민수 씨의 책이에요?

 Is this Minsu's book?

     네, 이거는 민수 씨의 책이에요 

Yes, this is Minsu's book

ex) 저거는 나나 씨의 볼펜이에요?

Is that Nana's pen?

    아니요, 저거는 제 볼펜이에요.

No, that's my ballpoint pen.



can be used as the contraction for " 저+ 의" 


ex) 제 이름은 김소진이에요 

My name is Kim Sojin

ex) 저거는 누구의 가방이에요?

Whose bag is that?

 저 가방은 제 가방이에요 

That's my bag


ex) 그거는 민수 씨의 휴대폰이에요?

Is that Minsu's cell phone?

 아니요, 제 휴대폰이에요 

No, it's my phone



sometimes, 의 can be omitted in spoken language 

ex) 이거는 민수 씨(의) 책이에요.

This is Minsu's book

ex) 저거는 수잔 씨(의) 가방이에요

ex) That's Susan's bag


pronunciation "의" 

1) when 의 comes to the beginning of the word 

ex) 의사 ei sa  

2) when 의 appears in the middle or in the end of a word [i]

ex) 회의, hwe i 

3) when 의 is used with noun [e] sound 

ex) 수잔의 가방  [수잔에 가방]
